Pinebrook Recreation Center Features
One Story Building: A small building of approximately 1,000 square feet which will include men's and women's locker rooms with restrooms, showers and open cubbies, and storage for the pool equipment.
Swimming Pool: 25' x 75', with dedicated hours for lap swimming. The pool will be heated. We anticipate that the pool will be 3 feet deep at the shallow end and 6 feet deep at the deeper end. The pool with have a chairlift for handicap access.
Hot Tub: 12'-15’ square with perimeter seats and center seats.
Kiddie Pool: 12' x 15', one foot deep.
Deck Area: Beach chairs in the sun and shade, and an eating area with BBQs.
Grassy Area: Grassy area for lounging in sun and shade.
Summer Use Only: Maintenance costs have been based on summer only use (Memorial Day through September).
Projected Costs (all figures are estimates based on 2020 builder discussions)
The total capital budget to build the Pinebrook Recreation Center is $1.2 million (including contingency) as follows:
Land: To be leased from the Pinebrook Master Association on a long-term basis. The initial annual lease amount will be $10,000. It is anticipated that the lease amount will increase in line with inflation.
Pools and Whirlpool: $425,000
One Story Building: $300,000
Exterior and Surrounding Area (excavation, hardscape, landscape, fencing): $200,000
Other Costs (architect, engineers, permits, builder fees): $100,000
Furnishings (deck chairs and outdoor furnishings, shade structures): $75,000
Contingency: $100,000
